With the rapid growth in
Asian bioscience, we perceived the need for
a high standard international and regional
biomedical publication in English. Such a
new journal should offer a platform for manuscripts
dealing with Asian issues and offer doctoral
candidates a forum where for publishing their
research results.
We reorganized
the 50 plus year old Chulalongkorn Medical
Journal with an international editorial board
to be newly published as "Asian Biomedicine
(Research, Reviews and News). This journal
will solicit review papers, original articles,
technical and clinical reports, letters to
editor, and significant news from the scientific
community. The journal is distributed worldwide.
No page-charge is levied on authors (or institutions),
and twenty-five copies of reprints are free
of charge. We hope to create an Asian quality
journal that publishes papers from the wide
spectrum of human and veterinary clinical
and biological sciences. The first bimonthly
issue was to be published in June 2007. |
